This Privacy Policy explains how GWCOA1 LLC, doing business as My Beach Home Away From Home (“we,” “us”), collects, uses and protects your information when you visit MyBeachHomeAwayFromHome.com, request a quote, join our Specials List, text with us or stay at one of our vacation homes in Panama City Beach or Mexico Beach, Florida.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Name, email address, phone number and mailing address
  • Trip details: preferred home, dates, number of adults and children, occasions you’re celebrating and any message you send
  • Your language preference (English or Spanish) and whether you’re interested in a payment plan
  • For bookings: names of guests, vehicle details and payment information

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser type, IP address, pages visited and how you arrived at our site, through cookies and similar tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel

Payment information

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. Zelle and check payments are handled through your bank.

How we use your information

  • To answer your questions and send quotes, payment plan details and booking confirmations
  • To manage your reservation, payments and check-in, including resort registration at Tidewater Beach Resort
  • To check in with you during your stay and ask about your experience afterward
  • To send our free local guides and, if you agree, occasional special offers
  • To understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it and our advertising
  • To meet legal and tax requirements and protect our guests and homes

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we use it to reply to your quote request, send booking and payment reminders, share arrival information, check on you during your stay and, if you opt in, send special offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your text-message opt-in data and consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that send messages on our behalf.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that help us run our business, such as our customer messaging platform (GoHighLevel), payment processor (Stripe), email and text providers, website hosting, and Google and Meta analytics. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Tidewater Beach Resort and its association, for required guest registration, parking passes and wristbands.
  • Authorities, when required by law, or to protect the safety of guests, our homes or others.

We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To limit Google Analytics, you can use Google’s opt-out browser add-on. To adjust Meta ad settings, visit your Facebook ad preferences. Our site still works if you turn cookies off.

  • Emails: click “unsubscribe” in any marketing email.
  • Texts: reply STOP.
  • Your information: email us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We may keep some records when the law requires it, such as tax and booking records.

Children

Our website is meant for adults planning a vacation. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. When you tell us how many children are traveling, we collect only the number, not their personal information.

Sensitive information

We do not collect or sell sensitive personal data, such as precise location, health, biometric or financial account data, for advertising.

How we protect and keep information

We use reasonable safeguards, such as secure (HTTPS) forms and trusted service providers. No system is perfectly secure. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and our legal obligations, then delete it or make it anonymous.

Links to other sites

Our site links to sites we don’t control, such as Airbnb and social media. Their privacy policies apply when you visit them.
